Hi,Danna! It's Tracy, and we just got back from Denver Wed. night, and we had some rain, but not much.It rained some while we were there, but it was pleasant for the most part, since the sun broke out,and warmed things up some. Thanks sooo much for watching my shop for me while I ws gone.I owe you lunch or dinner soon! Tony and me went to Red Rocks ampitheater, like Palo Duro, but much bigger, they can hold 5 thousand, maybe more, and have had thousands of famous recording artists, and stars perform there over 7 decades now..Amazing acoustics, too, huge rocks jutting up to the sky! We may go for a concert, depending who's playing, sometime.Maybe a Western music revue, with my sister and The Texas Trailhands? We'll see..We also went to Dinosaur Ridge, which features 3-toed dinosaur prints in the rock, and lots of rock-water ripples all over the rock face, since all of the continent was under water, for a year at least, after the great Flood of Noah.Biblical geology is accurate as compared to evolutionary, you know..Then we went to Buffalo Bill's museum, and it was very interesting, covering his life as an Army scout, interpreter for Indian councils, and buffalo hunter to feed the Army, and eventually a master showman for Buffalo Bill's Wild West show. They toured Europe, and the U.S. for years, were very popular, and I personally believe he built the show around Miss Annie Oakley herself. She was pretty, petite, could ride and shoot perfectly every time, and she pioneered trick riding and shooting for rodeo cowgirls who came after.Yeehaw, Annie! She's a hero, until today! We did all this Sunday, with a sold-out tour on a bus,and we got back in the afternoon. We took a lot of good pics, and I'll send you some.I went to Georgetown,Colo.Tuesday on another spouse tour, and it was sold out with 2 buses.Wow!Georgetown is an old mining town, pretty Victorian B&B houses, and good restaurants to eat at. We had lunch there, and I did some shopping, all on Main street, and then we went to the Hamill house,a Victorian Home built for the Hamill family after a lucky metals strike, and took some great photos, inside and out.Lovely house, but the best part were the pretty bright orange frilly poppies outside of the house.I got a good close-up of these, which I will also send..The best part of the trip was riding the steam-powered Georgetown Loop Railway,a short excursion train trip that loops around Georgetown, and back again. It was a little cooler up that high,6to7,000ft.elevation,so a lot of us ended up buying extra jackets and ,in my case,a pink engineer's cap,and one for Tony,to match my pink nylon jacket. The other ladies who bought pink jackets and me formed the fun "Pink Ladies Train Gang",and we sat in the open-air cars and took pics of each other, talked, and loved the gorgeous scenery. It was so great! The spouse tours of these conventions are usually fun,and we learn so much, and form friendships, too. This trip was not on our nickel, though, because Tony is the regional coordinator for the Imperial Barrel Awards, and his team, the U.of Nebraska, came in 2nd,and they took a 10,000$ check home to their school for their geology dept. The first place winner was the U.of Moscow,Russia. This is the first time a European team other than Imperial College of London, for which this competition is named, has won.Their check amount is 20,000$ for their school.Canada came in third, with a 5,000$ check, and I'm sorry to say,I can't remember their school name. All the schools who competed are winners who carried through and made it to Denver, and there were Visa problems for the African team, but they were there!Congrats to all of them.. I'm now working on the ETC"secrets"promotion program that goes from the third Monday through Tuesday at noon, and once I understand it,I'll do it.You have time to do it this weekend if you want to.It makes people search your shop to find your purchase item, plus free gift promotion. You'll need to contact itsmecheri,or Sweetwolf for sign up info..Love,close for now,Tracy

Hi,y'all,You sweet ladies know I love to chat, but I have an upset stomach, and I'm going to bed soon.I did go to choir practice though, and we have some great music to sing coming up on Pentecost Sunday, this Sunday.Don't forget to wear red!It symbolizes everything of the Holy Spirit on that day.Wow,AWESOME!Enjoy this Sunday, especially.I hope this thread goes through tomorrow and the weekend,so I can catch up on what's going on!I can always start a new one!..Love,Bye for now,Tracy

Hello,Crossties! This is Tracy, and Tony and me just got back from Santa Fe.We were there for 3 days,4 nights. We stayed at the Hotel Santa Fe,close to downtown, but we did use the bright purple shuttle to get to Tia Sophia's,a great downtown restaurant for breakfast, since I slept in most days, though Tony doesn't,but we had fun in spite of the rain. This was our delayed 30th anniversary trip, since it's April 7th,but we weren't able to go then, and Tony had a Mississippi river trip planned to go all the way from New Orleans up to Minneapolis-St. Paul.Yes,the Mississippi does go all that way,but his money was returned, and he was told they had gone bankrupt.Oh well, they'll be other trips, and we would have been away for a longer while than we were.It rained the whole time we were there, but they really needed it,so it was okay.We wore big cowboy hats, and my denim duster,so we were covered. On the way home today,it Really Rained! It was all around us,too,as well. When we got home,I asked our one son,Philip,if it rained here.He said"not really".I hope we got some, how much did y'all get in Canyon?I hope a good soaking,at least, and I hope we get some more this weekend, for all of us.Can we get together in Canyon this week or weekend? My schedule's open,so we can plan around yours. You have some great places to eat,and shop.I'd also like to see your shop,or where you work. You are always welcome at my house, too, abot any time.I like to have company, along with our 2 Corgis, and Tony when he's in town,so let's talk about that, too. Are you able to travel, and would you like to do some shows together?Doesn't Canyon have one coming up,and can I still register for it,this summer? We will be gone again for a geologist's convention, the 5th thru the 10th of June.I love these conventions, and I often get some good stuff for jewelry making at some cheap prices, too. And I'm always learning something new about interesting stuff, since I love rocks and minerals. The latter part of June I'll be in Tulsa with Tony, the 22nd is my birthday,to see "Celtic Woman",a terrific show with lovely ladies with angel's voices singing all kinds of music, not just Gaelic and Irish folk, but I like that, too. They have a full travelling orchestra and singing troupe as well.It should be wonderful.June isn't even here yet,and it's already full.Meantime,I must work on my little shop, and make it better.Have you figured out how to use Etsy's showcase?I picked a category that had some spaces left in jewelry, but it rejected my reservation, saying I didn't have anything in that category in my shop.Well, duh,I planned to take care of that as soon as I could by putting photos online in the meantime before the items went on the showcase.I guess I have to have it in my shop before I put it in the showcase, but that's why I like to book ahead of time, for that reason.I took some things off my shop because the photos are bad,and now I need to retake them, and add others for more views.Yuk,what a lot of extra work! I hope to get a good friend to help me who is good at taking pictures, and I would also like to get her on Etsy Texas, too! So we'll see. Thanks sooo much for adding me as a friend.Mama said, "you need to be a friend to make a friend."Jesus said that too,in different words, but it's so true!Let's be a friend to those who have fought for our country, and have given their lives for it,and honor those who are still with us,and be thankful they are! God bless you and yours during this sacred holiday, love in Christ,Tracy"wiretwist".

Howdy team member! I'm Tracy "wiretwist"Kolodziej, and we are proud members of the same team! We don't live far from each other, either. We have another team member, from Lubbock as I understand, and I still need to meet her as well. Did you get my invite? Tell me what you think, please, and we'll do it soon ,when we can.I like your stuff, I've done some crochet myself, and may use some in my jewelry designs, maybe with wire.I've actually made some flowers which can be sewn on to your designs, if you're interested.Just contact me if so,or not.Contact me anyway, just for fun.Maybe we can do some shows together? Yours,Tracy"wiretwist"
